The Boy Who Was Blue

This poem has a few works on a few different levels, besides the childish story. There is a sense of colour/racial questioning and accepting who you are. Secondly is the depression-blue idea that you don’t ALWAYS have to be happy, sometimes it’s okay to be sad. Finally is an autobiographical element where painting red represents falling in love, the rain takes it away, and then dealing with it.
